Fat Face isn’t a brand I have any familiarity with, so I was happy to be given the option to choose a couple of items from their Holiday Shop. There was so much to choose from, with styles to suit all shapes and sizes, and ages too I think! I’m always a little wary of ordering online from a brand I have no experience with in case sizing ends up being really out, but what I loved about the Fat Face website is that every item has a ‘user review’ option so you can not only see a star rating but see a little chart showing how other customers think it fits, from small to large. This was perfect for me so I knew to size up or not, for example the hoody I chose had comments that it was a roomy fit, so I got my normal size and it’s comfortable without being too baggy, perfect!
Sadly I have no official ‘Summer holiday’ to go on this year, but hey I’m on maternity leave so every day is a holiday right?! Well, not quite but I don’t have to wear stuffy office clothes at least! I chose the ‘Bea’ dress in a lovely soft jersey fabric with a tie back and cross over neckline. It’s the perfect maxi length (although being a shorty at 5’2″ I do need to lift it up going up stairs!) and it skims over my post baby-belly too which is important for me at the moment! It can be dressed up or down, I’m wearing it here for a stroll along the beach, but with a sheer black kimono style cover up it would be perfect for a dinner out!
I also chose the ‘Dawlish’ zip through hoody, and can safely say it is is THE most comfortable hoody ever, stretchy, soft and nice deep pockets, plus a lovely cable knit design. Hoody perfection, I feel like it’s a bit more ‘mature’ than normal jersey hoodies! They also have a fantastic kids range, starting at age 4 which I will be looking forward to exploring in a couple of years for Athena!
Bought any new holiday wardrobe essentials yet? Ever tried anything from Fatface?
I kindly given to opportunity to choose two items to review for the purpose of this post. All words and opinions are my own.
