Christmas Books from Parragon

Both Athena and Arlo got a new Christmas book last week from Parragon, for Arlo it was ‘Jingle Jingle Little Reindeer’, a cute little board book with a finger puppet reindeer for the reader to use to help the story come alive! It’s a nice catchy rhyme and the story is about helping the reindeer get to the sleigh on time! In fact even though Athena is too old for this book really she loves the reindeer finger puppet too!

Athena’s book is ‘The Night Before Christmas’, the traditional tale of the most exciting evening of the year! At 2.5 Athena is still a bit young to fully understand the story, but I’ve really been enjoying reading it to her, and she’s been loving the illustrations! They’re by Henry Fisher, and are full of sparkle and magic. Think lovely photos of hand made scenes overlaid with drawings, it’s definitely a book to include in your Christmas book advent year after year! More info here
