A pause.

I feel like I need four (or even five) more hours in every day.
I feel like my to do list has no end
I feel like my house is a hovel because I can’t find time to clean
I feel like blogging is a chore
I feel like I’m never going to get to the bottom of my email inbox
I feel like my maternity leave is rushing by in the blink of an eye
I feel stressed when I think about going back to work
I feel stressed because buying a house is hard
I feel stressed because Arlo won’t drink from a bottle and I desperately need the day out that is planned for Saturday without him
I feel awful because I need a day away from my children
I feel guilty that I’m watching too much TV and not spending enough time on my blog

I feel a lot at the moment, and something has to give!

I feel like I need a break.

Take a break, blogging will still be there when you’ve recharged your batteries and slowed things down (I’m talking to myself here too!) Your children however won’t stop growing and developing and even when you are present 24/7 it’s still easy to forget moments when looking back at photos. We’re taking it slower for August with the summer hols and am enjoying it immensely. House buying – so stressful until the last minute! xxx

Take a break! The blog and your readers will still be here when you return. It’s important you make the most out of your time – it goes so quickly!

I find time is going so quickly for me as well and I often can’t remember what I did last week, let alone last month. I keep having to remind myself to slow down. I don’t want to look back and see only a blur!

    Take it easy, lovely. X

Oh you poor thing, you sound wrung out. Absolutely take a break, you need to recharge. Just focus on the essentials and getting through each day. Emails and blogging will always be there if you want to come back to them.

Take a break and recharge the batteries. Buying a house is stressful enough without having a baby and toddler to contend with. It’s also perfectly normal to need a break from your babies, please don’t feel guilty!!
Sending a hug (and some cake!)
    xx

O sweetie, take the break if you need it…there is nothing more important than your sanity and feeling OK.
We’ve all been there so just do what is right for you and enjoy your time with the kids

Sorry to hear you’re feeling so rushed! It sounds like you’ve got a million things to juggle. Looking forward to seeing you on Saturday xxx

Hi Lauren, I can relate to so much of what you say, the endless emails, a messy house etc. Actually I don’t know how you do it with a little baby as well as a big baby! Take a well deserved break. Your readers will always be waiting for you. In the meantime I can always babysit (any chance for Arlo cuddles) or if you want a day away leave the kids at home and we can go for a night out in Brighton 😉 xx

Good for you. Take that break and enjoy it! Everyone will still be here when you’re ready to return. Enjoy some time in the Brighton sunshine! x
