Strawberry Lambrini – I’ll admit that I was a a bit dubious about this but was actually pleasantly surprised! I have never tried normal Lambrini actually hence my wariness but this tasted a little like fruit cider but with more sparkle! We enjoyed it with a delicious steak and jacket potato, perfect as a summery drink, and cheap too at around £3.20 a bottle! Check out the full range of flavours here, I think I’ll try Cherry next!
This awesome collection of sweets are from www.ashbytreats.com, not only do they sell online but they have a traditional sweet shop in a small village called Ashby, sadly miles away from me! Literally any penny sweet you can remember from your childhood is available for reminiscing and mouth-watering. My favourites have to be the fizzy cola bottles and the fruit salads though! I took most of these in to work to share out, I knew if they stayed at home too long tempting me that I’d polish them off in an evening! I’ll admit I gave Athena a little suck of the Refresher bar, and the face she pulled was a classic, I wish I had the camera handy!
Kent & Fraser Biscuits, full of natural ingredients, superb flavours and a texture that really hits the spot, and totally gluten-free too! The lemon shortbread were melt in the mouth tasty, and the spicy ginger are perfect for tea dunking! Find out more on their website website, and they’re available from Ocado, Selfridges and independent shops.
Metcalfe’s Skinny Topcorn – for a couple of months now I’ve been gratefully receiving a box of popcorn, full of amazing flavours! My favourite so far is sweet cinnamon, I can literally gobble a whole bag in about ten minutes, good thing it’s only 117 calories per bag eh? The chocolate crackle is pretty good too! Available from all the big supermarket brands and places like books and WHSmith too! The full range of goodies can be view here!
All of these tasty treats were sent as press samples, although I was under no obligation to feature them.
