Beauty Review: Green People Mascara

Excitingly the lovely organic beauty company Green People are offering one of their products at a reduced rate each day for 12 days of Christmas! Todays offer is their Volumising Mascara, which I was sent to review for you!
Green People Mascara
The brush has a whole load of little bristles which help to really grab each eyelash, even the lower lashes, and the formula has microspheres in it which act as tiny sponges to help volumise. The mascara also has vitamin E in too to help to nourish the lashes, which is important for me as I wear mascara every day. I wore this for the first time on Sunday with no eyeliner so I could see if it ended up half way down my face or not, the first photo is after application and the 2nd at 9pm, 11 hours later. I experienced no irritation, no clumping and no flakiness either, I’m actually pretty impressed! It doesn’t give as dramatic effect as my absolute fave Lancome Hypnose Drama, but I’ve yet to find anything that does, the bonus being that it is half the price and not full of chemicals. This is perfect for every day with a couple of coats and evenings by using three coats and wiggling at the base of the lashes.

Morning vs evening, not bad at all! Tired eyes though…
It’s available in Black or Brown, and for today only is retailing at £10 instead of £14.75 as part of their brilliant Christmas offer! To learn more about the product from Amy at Green people, and to buy it head on over to the 12 days of Green People Christmas website!
Do check back here on the 7th December as I have another lovely product for babies from Green People to review which is also available at a brilliant price and will make a perfect gift if you know of any pregnant ladies or new mums!

Green People products are not tested on animals and never contain: Sodium lauryl/laureth sulphate, parabens, lanolin, phthalates, propylene glycol, alcohol (ethyl alcohol, ethanol), harsh foaming agents, irritating emulsifiers, synthetic fragrances, PABA-sunscreen, colourants, petrochemicals, urea, DEA, TEA or PEGs. I was kindly sent the mascara for review but all opinions are my own.

I love that I can buy this brand at Feel Unique. I love the salve for babies (Zayn has eczema and this salve doesn’t irritate him) and I love their night cream and cream cleanser. Good stuff and a good price! Natural mascara’s are iffy for me, I don’t mind the chemicals in them if they’ll make my lashes look amazing! 🙂 Hourglass Film Noir is my favourite.
