Seeing as it’s just a month away now I thought I’d talk about two Christmas traditions. One is an old one of a Christmas Stocking, but firstly a relatively new festive tradition for many of us, the Christmas Jumper!
Athena and I are wearing Christmas Jumpers from George at Asda, seeing as it’s just one month away! Mine is from the men’s selection as I liked the pattern on it more than the plainer ladies one. Both jumpers washed really well and stayed soft and haven’t bobbled either. I also have my eye on this robin jumper too! I’ve also pointed someone who asked what Athena might need for Christmas in the direction of this gorgeous knitted Christmas tree all in one suit, so fingers crossed!
We both teamed our festive knits with skinny jeans (mine are Topshop and hers are Baby Gap!) The extreme amount of photos are because Sam was having a play with my new camera (a Canon 1100d, an early Christmas present to myself!) and we also took some snaps for our cheesy family Christmas card/family shot (hello new tradition!)
We’re not going to go all out for Christmas this year as Athena isn’t old enough to understand what’s going on really! I’ve bought her a useful present this Cath Kidston plate, a little Christmas PJ set to wear on Christmas Eve, a penguin T shirt and some board books. I know that she’ll be spoilt by friends and family too, so was over the moon when Funky Giraffe sent Athena a gorgeous stocking (I was thinking about making one but now i’m off the hook!) so we can pop things in there and fill it up for her!
It’s nice and bright and slightly padded so would protect anything inside if it were to be flung about (such as babies like to do!) and has a cute little tasselled trim and a hook for hanging. Oh I love the photos! Your daughter looks so sweet in the little hat and jumper! I have a niece due between now and Christmas so will check out the stockings and bibs from that company!

Such cute snaps! I love both your jumpers. I’m trying to resist buying a maternity Christmas jumper but there is a New Look one with a light up nose right on the bump that keeps screaming ‘buy me!’. x
