Make a house a home

My newest addition to the mantelpiece is this Pantone candle, which smells of Bergamot & Sandalwood, and burns for an amazing 45 hours! You can get these candles and loads of other amazing things (See below!) at amara.co.uk, which sells some completely unique pieces to make your home gorgeous!
The other scents are amazing too, or you can choose the colour that goes best with your decor… My house is decorated in what I like to call ‘eclectic’ (for want of a better word) and the rule is if I like it, it stays! So following that rule, I chose for the scent, rather than for what would match everything else, because nothing really matches!
Grapefruit & Rosemary in red, and Apple & Cedar Wood in white.
Have a look at the full range of Pantone items here, mugs, placemats, cufflinks… all sorts!

Mine is now burning away on the mantelpiece. And no we’re not really odd and invited ourselves to our own wedding, this invite is for our flatmate!
Bird Bedding
Daisy patch cushion
Alessi storage jars (they come in all sorts of colours and have little people in them!)

And if you are getting married soon then have a look at the Wedding List Service, you could happily decorate your whole house with pretty (and useful!) things! We asked for donations to our ‘saving for a house’ fund from our guests because we already live together and have the necessities, even if they’re not to pretty, but if we were moving into a new home together then this is definitely the kind of thing I would have done!

I love candles… but I’m always stingy! No wonder I’m usually disappointed. Love these though!

Oooh, I am super tempted to buy a few things from there… the Pantone candles would look awesome on our mantel in our bedroom at the seaside flat!
